Understood about 'customer no service'. I'm ~equidistant from both the main store and and the nearest 'deep suburb' store with the available stock variety and especially customer service being night n' day between the two. No 'free lunch' for the extra service/selection though, the traffic both ways is typically congested during most of its open hours, so a higher trip cost in time/fuel.

FWIW, I've been custom ordering since the first store opened here in the '70s and can't recall paying for any shipping for stuff they listed or at least came from a main supplier. Truly special order stuff of course had some shipping, but only custom siding or similar heavy stuff had any significant amount and even then it often came by rail car, so cheaper than a long hauler.

Thanks Again ! Here's a few more pics of the veneer being applied to a walnut backer,and also the cabs being glued up with glue and biscuits. Lots of glue I asked him to use.

Just have to get these ports ironed out.I got to go see if I can order some 6" PVC pipe.

Hey GM, I picked up the schedule 40 6" PVC today the plumbing supply house had it in stock.Pretty cheap $15 for a 6 foot piece.So I had the flared port tubes sent back.
